Consistently do not understand why people date the adults in Persona 5 (ok I understand *why* but that's like looking at joker as an insert and not a character.) because like You Fools(/J) that's his Found Family™. Game concept:

a game where you need to save a bunch of humans (and yourself) from dying, except the humans are idiots and you're supposed to follow their orders, so you need to pretend to follow their orders while secretly saving them (and yourself). The main mechanic is hacking (moving through different systems, getting access to cameras/drones/bots and getting them to do things for you).

Fairly story driven, with levels going from tutorial where you learn hacking by hacking your governor module to mining accidents to alien remnants to escaping and hiding from everyone to learning about preservation from a documentary and going there on a convenient super intelligent spaceship from some university that is suspiciously familiar with the concept of rogue secunits and is somehow involved with how you hacked your govmod??

The whole game is events being thrown at you and you needing to use what you have to manage them with as few humans dying as possible. Additional challenge comes from human giving you stupid orders. Stealth would probably need to be a mechanic because your actions need to not be noticed by humans (and other SecUnits?). Additional goal is finding different types of media hidden across the levels. In the end Murderbot meets you and only likes you if you have the special episode of sanctuary moon that was considered lost media.

I think Pin's adopted mom/aunt/whatever is a lesbian.

First rule of a QL (BL or GL) is everyone is queer until proven otherwise.

Second, she isn't married and for someone who keeps emphasizing the point that Anin and Pin will have to get married, why isn't she married?

Third, she is doing too much. She is the epitome of normalized femininity. She is pink. She is attractive. She can cook. She can clean. She can do it all . . . in heels. Is she overcompensating?

Fourth, THE COLORS!

She is a dark-ish pink, almost red, yet she has worn this peach/orange color a few times.

And I would think she's bi-colored but . . .

I think there is something else going on here.

Not only does she wear that color, but when she has business outside of the house, she gets darker.

What's the reason that she feels safe in her home, but changes her color when she has to leave it?

And, at first, I thought it was because she was in love with Anin's mom.

Because it would make sense that she wears Princess Alisa's color at times and feels most comfortable at home.

And it would make sense that she would stick right by Alisa's side.

But I'm not convinced, and it's because of the broach!

She has worn it several times, and even though Alisa has one, it's different.

And they change.

But in a show that has Pin and Anin sharing matching hair pins and gifting each other sentimental jewelry, I feel Pat's broach being consistent has to be significant.

So whichever woman Pat loves is orange/yellow colored and should have a similar broach or theme of sun or flowers, plus her poster has her in that peach color and states that she has secrets.

So which woman broke this wee little lesbian's heart?

So, uh, fun (?) fact...

You know how at the end of the last Walpurgisnacht fight, you get a staged segment (hehe, staged) with solo Madoka?

I never thought to do this at the time, but if you actually try to check Walpurgisnacht's stats...

Okay, nothing happens. At FIRST. You get the standard-looking menu. But if you click on "Enemy Info" - which makes a sound, but doesn't do anything - and then click on Skills, you'll get this...kind of broken-looking Kioku page with a bunch of sample text.

Whatever, seems like a bug, right?

But if you click on the Details tab after this, you get...

Which, uh...

Chat, what does this mean?

Why does - okay, well, there's a lot going on here with the max stats and horribly redundant Kioku title, but, chat, why does it say Homura Akemi there? Hello????

Okay, to be more serious, this is probably a bug.

You normally go to Ally Info when you click on Enemy Info, and vice versa. You only have a super powered-up Madoka during this fight, and are forced to use her Special, so...my assumption is that the game screws up a bit trying to load her skills, since she doesn't really have any. The "supremely invincible unrivaled ultra hyper Kioku" title, as redundant as it is, would definitely suit Madoka at this point in time.

But then for some reason it gives you Homura's name instead of Madoka's, and...yes, it is definitely an error and means nothing, but seeing Homura's name as a technical (though likely erroneous) identifier for Walpurgisnacht is...hurting my brain...

People do have theories, after all...

Things I am certain [or at least semi-certain] of in the future of Deltarune:

I'm not giving all my evidence/back-up facts for each of these cuz this is long enough just trust me. I can expand on any 1 of these topics if asked directly LMAO

These are not in order, so related points may be spaced out cuz this is a mad dash to get all me and my gf's thoughts down.

Susie will become a dragon kaiju at some point, most likely willingly or semi-willingly to either save the city, or to fight a titan [likely kris] [I am 10000% certain of this]

Kris will become a titan after separating from the soul [which would likely go to susie and turn her into the kaiju]

Someone might sing I'm with you in the dark [which might be a lullaby susie used to hear as a kid from her parents] to susie or kris to bring them back to their senses in these states.

The 'Angel' is us. The player. The person controlling Kris. [However I think someone else GAVE us that connection, there's someone else in the formula here that's in-universe. Possibly gaster.]

Spamton has seen the player and was trying to get to 'heaven' aka the real world. We are like biblically accurate angels to them. Realistic, shaded, etc. We are eldritch. Spamton wanted to become BIGGER, because he thought that was the way to get to heaven because he glimpsed the player.

Spamton technically 'got to heaven' cuz he became a popular plushie and is now a cultural phenomenon irl. Toby won't make plushes of lightners because they're not objects. They're not SUPPOSED to get to our world, narratively. But Darkners want to become real... and becoming real plushes sold by toby kinda grants that wish.

Sans knows about the player/can see us.

Kris, when they look over their shoulder at different points, is looking AT US.

The shadow crystals are possibly pieces of the barrier that separates us the player from the world of deltarune.

"<"deltarune">" [it deletes if I don't put the quotes] is a videogame. It's THE videogame we're playing. The reason the prophecy cannot be changed is because it's. Code. The literal code of the world. I have a side-headcanon that the prophecy was made by kris and asriel when they were younger.

Ralsei doesn't know EVERYTHING. He doesn't know how to change the future.

Susie is now aware of the player, and to an extent... she trusts us. "We're NOT gonna let that happen... right?" she's looking RIGHT at us. She's not talking to kris in that scene. She fears nothing, and will stare us right in the face and ask for help. This connection was formed when she shared a bit of Kris' soul's light when banishing the titan at the end of chapter 4.

I think the last prophecy could be MANY things... but my biggest guess is it's about Toriel being sacrificed or hurt. That's why susie's so upset, and why she can't handle being in the house at the end of chapter 4. She can't look at toriel, knowing what she knows now. To an extent, neither can kris. [kris is also upset abt their mom moving on and getting friendly with sans] [who I believe is /partially/ getting close to toriel to talk with kris or smth related to the prophecy.]

Asgore might see the player [may have already seen?] and go on a rant about them in front of people, pointing at us, claiming he's seen the angel. He'll then be dragged off to asylum. [The flower man, trapped in asylum.] This will likely be witnessed by susie or kris, who will know he's telling the truth, and feel sick they can't defend him.

Carol is the most likely roaring knight. It could also be dess, and it could be an unknown third party. But it's most likely carol.

Kris is terrified of Carol, and she's using SOMETHING to manipulate kris. Something strong enough to make Kris do a bunch of things they really, really don't wanna do [including deal with this fuck-ass soul]

Kris is suicidal, at least in the snowgrave route. This is backed up by some pretty blatant messages from asgore and gerson boom [old man]. And the fact that after gerson tells kris to keep living in the snowgrave route, he gives them an apple. They eat it so aggressively that they eat the core, and the seeds. Apple seeds contain cyanide. Not enough to kill you... but the idea is there. Also, kris would not have stopped kicking the soul in the trash can if asgore hadn't interrupted them. They are at half health at the end of that cutscene.

The titan looks like a generic, realistic human silhouette before fully forming [it's been here the whole time] because it's what kris fears most. it then turns into an angelic form. kris also can't handle looking at other humans. [also susie mentions 'aw yeah giant monster movies, always liked them more than the giant human movies.'] also the prophecy 'the angel, banished, will finally meet its desire' does not show us a picture of them, but susie seems disturbed by what she's seeing. Kris can't look at it. Ralsei seems rattled, but accepting. That's just the way the angel looks. Susie seems like she's seen an eldritch creature. And why won't they show us? they can't. Because it looks. like. you. Whoever is playing the game. It's them.

We need to get Dess out of the code of the game somehow. She fell in somehow and we need to get her out. She's in stasis somewhere. [also I think she's in like... cryosleep, essentially]

Carol is trying to bring back dess.

Carol and Queen are two halves of the same personality. Queen might be based on how carol USED to be. Queen has blue lipstick only on her bottom lip, and carol has the exact same color only on her top lip. 'carol's not so bad when you get to know her', rudy clearly still loves her ['I love her, but she can be tough on noelle'], so clearly he married her for a reason and he's upset she's changed. She's not his wife right now... cuz she's been lost to her grief and obsession. She was overprotective before [like queen is to noelle], but it got turned up to 100 when dess disappeared. She used to be a goofy mom who made jokes, collected silly santas, and preserves her childrens' heartfelt gifts to the point of bronzing noelle's paper snowflakes [the same ones that the knight uses in some of its attacks].

"You were used up" in the secret route [sword route] of chapter 3 is not referring to kris solely, it's also referring to US the player. We're being used by someone in-game.

The realistic stock human face on Flowey in Undertale was foreshadowing the fact that the human player is the Angel in deltarune [and to an extent, undertale too], because it's so out of pocket and unsettlingly... specific. We don't know why a human face, inside a screen, in black and white, is on flowey's face. But we know undertale was the blueprint for deltarune, so there's connections here and there that haven't been explained or revealed yet.

Asriel might have the final piece to fixing everything. Because he helped make the game that the prophecy might have been brought to life from.

The soul is talking. Like. Through speaker phone. That's why kris doesn't sound right to noelle. And why they can close their mouth sometimes to interrupt the soul's dialogue choices. Susie sees nothing weird abt this cuz she JUST met them after the soul took effect.

Asgore might set something ablaze in chapter 5 when he finds out sans and toriel are getting along. 'fields of pink and gold burned in an inferno of jealousy'. he's doing everything in his power to get the family back together, to an obsessive degree, because he believes their family split for stupid, unfair reasons. He believes he's not crazy. And to an extent, he's not.

pink and gold... Red and White and Yellow aux cords? Why were we asked about aux cords in the secret level in chapter 3 you can get by editing the code...? Combine red and white and you get pink? and yellow for the gold? Idk if this is the direct correlation but that one's too crazy not to document.

he also has an endnote after "courait" which reads

The subject of this verb is le silence particulier. Boulanger uses the inversion to convey stylistically the all-embracing secrecy of the meeting.

this is making me cuckoo. obviously the subject of courait is le silence particulier. what else could it possibly be!! that's the least confusing thing about the sentence!

what is actually confusing is everything that happens after le silence particulier. fleuri is a past participle which i would think is acting as an adjective because there's no auxiliary. what's it modifying? silence? are we saying [le silence [particulier des comploteurs] [fleuri du pavillon pâle]]? and where is the pavillon pâle coming from? this is the first use of the word pavillon. the translator takes it as figurative language, which maybe it is, but i can't figure out what it's doing in the sentence because...

what the fuck is going on with multiple? if it's an adjective modifying pavillon, then shouldn't it (and pavillon!) be plural? like by definition?? the translator has clearly interpreted it this way by the inclusion of "many pale flags". however, i originally interpreted pavillon not as flag (flags have not been mentioned in the story at all so far) but as outbuilding, because on the previous page the pergola was described as having "murs aveugles" which the translator thought was odd because pergolas don't have walls, let alone windowless ones, so he thought maybe it was referring to an outbuilding. also, if multiple is somehow modifying pavillon despite the fact that they're both singular, everything up to and including multiple is a complete sentence. what is des questions and everything after it doing? that's a completely new noun phrase. what verb phrase is it part of?

at one point i was thinking, could multiple be a verb? but it would have to be a verb in the 3rd person singular present indicative (or i guess subjunctive), so it can't parallel courait. there are present indicative verbs in this sentence, but they're both in the subordinate clause after "des questions". the subject would either have to be le silence (which doesn't make sense because courait also has silence as the subject and is in the imparfait) or le pavillon, which doesn't make sense because there's an et in between pavillon and multiple.

i can't say the translation is incorrect because i don't understand the original sentence. but if i start from the translation and try to work backward, the biggest problem i run into isn't "many pale flags" (maybe le pavillon pâle et multiple could be a plural noun phrase stylistically?) but rather "fluttered". he's added a completely new main verb that doesn't exist in the original. and at first i was assuming that he was getting fluttered from fleuri somehow, but i can't make that make sense either semantically or syntactically which maybe is a skill issue, i don't know!!

if we try to line up the correspondences between original and translation by color:

it does seem like fluttered and fleuri have to be related somehow. maybe fleuri is actually supposed to be fleurit (most of the story is in the passé simple)...but if des questions is the subject, it would have to be fleurirent because questions is plural. and it still seems pretty weird not to have a conjuction in the french (he's added "and" in the translation). and where did the "above them" come from in "fluttered above them"? i am losing my mind. what am i missing.
